Far South Food Resilience

Welcome!

The Far South Food Resilience Program has been established through the Dover and South Action Group. At the 2023 Dover and South Action Group Annual General Meeting, the committee passed a motion to establish the Far South Food Resilience Program. This motion was in response to the various reports generated from the below mentioned community consultations. These reports demonstrated the real and urgent need to increase the capacity of food resilience support throughout the Far South area.

The Far South Food Resilience program is fortunate to use the released data gathered from four (4) separate, funded, professionally compiled rounds of community consultations. These were provided by;

  • Food Hub, Huon Valley
  • Health Consumers Tas
  • Healthy Tasmania Strategic Five Year Plan
  • Eatwell Tasmania
